When we first started our website in 1998 we were often asked by email about the therapeutic healing and protection of real sheepskin as saddle pads or numnahs for horses back care.

Unlike many in the market, Woolprotec or Rugged Australia have nothing to hide, fabric linings are used to cover patchwork which falls apart very quickly. Woolprotec or Rugged Australia sheepskin saddle pads are cut from two full sheep skins to keep even wool density that creates a consistent pressure point care for your horses back, all joins are flattened to further protect your horse.
